PRODUCTION PROCESS
The two raw materials lime stone and hydrochloric acid is reacted in specially designed chemical reactors to manufacture Calcium Chloride liquor of 40% concentration. The solution thus produced is drained into typical lagoons (internally lined with corrosion resistant material) in order to settle down all suspended particles. The decanted liquid is then filtered in specially classified filtering equipment to obtain crystal clear solution, which is pre-concentrated to a certain degree/viscosity which is now ready to be sent to the Prills Tower.
In the Prills Tower, the pre-concentrated liquor is sprayed at the top which meets a counter current of hot gases which transforms the descending spray into beads/prills of a definite beautiful size with a minimum concentration of 96% as Calcium Chloride. The granular product is cooled and stored in silos ready for unit packaging.
