Product Specifications
Trade Name Nickel Chloride
Chemical Name Nickel Chloride
Physical Appearance Green
Type Solid
Ni Contents 24% minimum
Raw Materials Nickel scrap and Hydrochloric Acid
Production Process
First of all 33% of hydrochloric acid is taken in FRP reactor where nickel metal/scrap having 99.9% minimum Ni is added for completion of reaction.
When the reaction is completed and pH ranges from 2.0-3.0, then filter this solution with filter cloth.
After this solution is fed into evaporator where the concentration of solution is increased and specific gravity is 1.600 – 1.650 at 100ºC.
Then thick solution is transferred to another vessel for cooling and crystallization.
The crystals dried through sun dryers and after drying grinding is carried out where concentration of final product is ≥ 24% as Nickel.
